On December 16, 2018, TEEX co-founder & Ph.D. from Fudan University Ryan Yu, participated in the last Dev Meetup of 2018 organized by Nervos in Hangzhou. At the party, Ryan Yu and Patrick McCorry (an assistant professor at King's College London), brought a theme sharing session on "Scaling Cryptocurrencies."
Ryan gave a speech of “Data Privacy Protection Based on Blockchain and TEE Technology”. In the report, he mentioned that in the era of big data, the intrinsic value of data has been achieving more and more attention. Both individuals and enterprises have great demand to exchange/analyze their data every day. However, the extension of data flow leads to more security risk of privacy leakage. Ryan introduced how to use the blockchain and TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) technology to protect the security and privacy during data flow.
The event brought together a number of outstanding academic researchers and technophiles, making this small gathering also allow the audience to integrate into the in-depth discussion atmosphere of the privacy computing area. At present, the blockchain industry is in the era of “Technology First”. TEEX is willing to work with everyone to explore more unknown things and discover new possibilities.
